THE ARTIST

A language
of feeling.

Linda Schneider is an artist with roots in Berlin. She began painting at the age of seven, encouraged by her father. Although she completed a degree in design, painting remained her creative home: a place for emotion, physicality and intuition.

Her time as an assistant and muse to the painter Jacques Gassmann was a defining experience. It deepened her understanding of dedication and expression, and strengthened her trust in her own visual language.

Her practice encompasses painting, drawing, photography, digital art and installation. Organic forms, abstract bodies and flowing lines shape her work. Figures emerge as emotional states: fragmented, connected, dissolving and reforming. Relationships lie at the heart of her practice—closeness and distance, longing, identity, and the changing relationship to oneself.

Nature is a source as much as a subject. Plant structures, growth, water and wind inform a visual world in which bodies and landscapes share the same energy. Intuitive, raw and poetic, her work invites viewers to look, feel and find their own reflections within its lines and forms.

Her current projects extend this exploration to the street life of international cities: everyday cycles, movement, sound and social energy translated into painting, photography and installation.
